With the theme “KunstGriffe” (Artistic Ingenuity), the late summer of 2025 will bring you a rich and diverse selection of carefully chosen musical gems from various genres. With this theme, we invite you to take a look behind the scenes of our artistic decisions: what we select, why we choose it, and in what context we present it to you, our esteemed audience.

From the perspective of those who create art, beyond the idea itself, what’s also needed is the “artistic gesture”: skill, ingenuity, creative power, and energy—what transforms the ordinary into art and manages to touch and stimulate us through its magic.

Our festival embraces a wide musical spectrum: from orchestral and chamber masterpieces, through Bach’s piano concertos and a major work by Arvo Pärt, to a high-caliber jazz weekend, and finally the spectacular reimagining of the silent film soundtrack for Nosferatu – A Symphony of Horror.
