Bach in the Blood
In recent decades, thanks to the early music movement, Bach's cantatas and oratorios have gained increasing attention from the public. As a result, interest in the roots of his instrumental concertos is more alive today than ever. This is precisely where pianist Schaghajegh Nosrati, born in 1989 in Bochum, begins her journey. After in-depth study of Bach’s cantatas, she has developed a fresh and stimulating interpretation of his piano concertos, creating a powerful musical arc that is further enriched by the inclusion of solo compositions by Mozart and Mendelssohn Bartholdy in the program.
An exceptional partner in this concert is the Bolzano String Academy, founded in 1987 by the Bolzano Music Society and led by Georg Egger.
The ensemble is known for its tireless refinement in the pursuit of sonic richness and stylistic character, grounded in impeccable technical brilliance. Over the years, the orchestra has collaborated with many prestigious conductors and soloists. With Schaghajegh Nosrati, a new gem is added to the piano scene.
