Roda dles Viles: Excursion to discover the Viles

Excursion organised by the Tourism Cooperative of San Vigilio - San Martino in collaboration with the Ladin Institute "Micurá de Rü", within the framework of the project of the Municipality of Marebbe "La Pli, the treasure to be unveiled" - financed by the Ministry of Culture PNRR M1C3 - ATTRACTIVITY OF HISTORIC VILLAGES. The viles and the "Ladin settlement model": development cycles of a social formation During the excursion, you will undertake the exciting discovery of the landscape and architecture of the viles of Pieve di Marebbe. You will be able to see how the Ladins knew how to anthropise the territory and make the most of the internal differences between the various forms of social settlement, producing and reproducing the conditions of their existence according to the principle of optimising the available economic resources, on the one hand, and handing them down intact in their potential to future generations, on the other. The route is approx. 8 km. Duration 3 hours. It starts in the centre of Pieve di Marebbe, then passes Brach, Ciaseles, Frontü, Biei, Fordora, Frena, La Costa, Cianoré, and then returns to Pieve di Marebbe again
