Haydn VR Experience
Haydn VR Experience is a new initiative of the Haydn Foundation of Bolzano and Trento, created to offer the public the chance to virtually conduct a symphony orchestra.
The opening will be opened by the Mayor of the city of Bolzano Renzo Caramaschi, the Councillor for Culture of the city of Bolzano Chiara Rabini, together with Paul Gasser and Monica Loss, respectively President and Director General of the Haydn Foundation of Bolzano and Trento.
The initiative is part of the 'Cantiere Culturale' project, conceived this year by the Haydn Foundation with the support of the Ministry of Culture and the Assimoco Group.
EVERYONE CAN JOIN IN AND BE A CONDUCTOR!
A unique experience in which the virtual conductors are led inside the Bolzano Concert Hall to the front of the conductor's podium thanks to VR glasses, special sensors and amplifiers and can conduct Joseph Haydn's Symphony No. 94 in G major "Surprise Symphony" with simple hand movements by determining the volume and tempo.
This experience not only increases the understanding of the complexity of a live performance, but also promotes the sensory perception of the performers, as the focus here is not only on seeing, but also on hearing.
The orchestra is looking forward to meeting you! Are you ready to take up the baton?
