Farmers bread, cereals & delicacies

Bread baking has a long tradition in Uttenheim and throughout South Tyrol. In the past, farmers only baked bread every few months and dried it to keep it for a long time. However, nothing beats the smell of freshly baked bread that roams the streets when baking!

And one thing is clear, every farm bakes its typical bread! So on this day you can taste 6 different farmer breads during a walk through Uttenheim at 6 rural baking ovens!

The following times are baked at the ovens on site:
Gratzer 10.30 am. – 3.00 pm.
Moarhof 10.00 am. – 5.00 pm.
Bachbauer 11.00 am. – 3.00 pm.
Strieglhof 10.00 am. – 2.00 pm.
Bodenhof 10.30 am. – 4.00 pm.
