Music & concerts
European Classics
Passionate and semi-professional instrumentalists, talented music students and their teachers, and (future) professional musicians gather in Brixen each year in late summer or early fall for a week of intensive daily rehearsals and conclude their work with a public concert.
Under the direction of young Salzburg conductor Rafaela Seywald, the orchestra will rehearse a high-level program again this year and present it to the public in a concert in Brixen.
The 2024 repertoire includes two little-known but important works from the late 19th century. The program includes Antonin Dvorak's symphonic poem "The Wood Dove" op. 110, composed in 1896, and American composer Amy Beach's "Gaelic Symphony" op. 32 from 1896.
Free admission, donations appreciated
