Culturinarika - Chef's Open Air
6 Eggen Valley gourmet chefs, 4 old wood-fired ovens, 1 legendary mountain backdrop: the main ingredients for the Chefs’ Open Air as part of Eggen Valley’s Culturinarika.
In the picturesque alpine meadows below the farm Stadlalm in Welschnofen, between the Rosengarten and the Latemar, between the grill and the fire pit, between creative and sophisticated creations, at this event you can look over the shoulders of the chefs as they prepare their delicious dishes.
Gregor Eschgfäller from Gourmet Restaurant Astra, Thobias Pardeller from the Franzin Alm, Theodor Falser from Gourmet Restaurant Johannesstube, Manfred Kohler from Mannius Philiaz, Manuel Pichler from Restaurant Tschein and Reinhard Daverda from Naturhotel Pfösl will all give your taste buds a treat.
Wines by renowned South Tyrolean winemakers will be served in keeping with the delicious food, including the St. Pauls Winery, the Pfitscher Winery, the Kornell Winery, the Ansitz Waldgries Winery and the Pitzner Winery.
A welcome aperitif from RedMoon will be served at the entrance.
Liqueurs and honey from the Oberkorer Hof also provide great tasting pleasure.
The works of art by Marialuisa Bonizolli are a delight for the eye.
Coffee enjoyment is available during the event, too.
Those in the mood for cool drinks will be well catered for at the Getränke Holzknecht stand.
The band, “Die Seltsamen Senfsamen” will ensure there is plenty of great gourmet music too.
