Bio*Beef tasting at the farm Ganoihof
Paul and Georg Profanter are pleased to present their Bio*Beef farm in Villnöss valley at 1130 m above sea level. The few cows and calves graze on fresh pasture grass, which makes a gourmet's heart glad. Many South Tyroleans already appreciate this quality meat. The meat comes from 9 to 12 month old young cattle, is rich in intramuscular fat, low in cholesterol, tender, is rich in omega 3 fatty acids and has an ideal juiciness.
Students of the 'Emma Hellenstainer' Provincial Hospitality and Gastronomy School together with their teachers Stefan Bacher and Stephan von Zallinger Stillendorf will demonstrate their culinary skills on site on Wednesday, 10th May 2023 from 10.30 am to 2.00 pm.
We are looking forward to discussing the different flavours with you and offer the following tastings:
- Finely spiced tartare cut from the nut with Vinschgerl bread.
- Young beef goulash from the "Emma shoulder" with polenta from Teis
- A few slices of the juicy shank on the grill with fair trade spices
- Finally a local apple strudel with schnapps
