Storie di migrazione–Migrationsgeschichten
The film series "Storie di migrazione – Migrationsgeschichten" is a cycle of five films exploring the experience of migration, developed through a collaboration between the Film and Media Office of the Provincial Department for German Culture and the Audiovisual Centre of the Provincial Department for Italian Culture. The aim is to go beyond data and statistics and bring lived experiences to the foreground. All screenings take place at 6:00 PM at the Centro Trevi-TreviLab in Bolzano and admission is free.
The series opens with the documentary "Capaci di volere – Imstande zu wollen" by Paolo Vinati and Roberta Dapunt, which follows the reception and integration process promoted by the Pustertal/Val Pusteria Community through the SAI project (Reception and Integration System). Drawing on the experience of seven small Alpine municipalities, the film reflects on hospitality as an act of openness capable of generating new perspectives and hope. After the screening, the directors will meet the audience, including Roberta Dapunt, a poet known for her work in Ladin and Italian.
Upcoming screenings in the series:
15 April 2026 – Nadea e Sveta by Maura Delpero, with Associazione Donne Nissà
29 April 2026 – Afronauts by Ide Maman, with cooperative Savera
13 May 2026 – Babylon Sisters by Gigi Roccati, with Biblioteca Culture del Mondo
5 June 2026 – Albania in Südtirol by Erald Dika and Thomas Saglia, with Associazione panalbanese Arbëria
The final screening will take place as part of the "Quo Vadis? Festival", organised by Associazione lasecondaluna together with Cedocs, with a special focus on the Albanian community in South Tyrol.
