Konzert der Brass Band Terra Raetica im Raiffeisensaal von aquaprad

Cross-border Interreg Project within the Terra Raetica Small Projects Fund, supported by the Interreg Italy–Switzerland Programme

The Brass Band Terra Raetica offers enthusiastic and primarily advanced musicians (section leaders, conductors) from wind music associations in all three regions the opportunity to further develop their skills. As part of the BBTR project, experienced instructors are engaged for each section.
Through joint rehearsals and performances, participants work intensively together while sharing tips, tricks, and techniques. The knowledge and expertise gained can then be transferred by the participants to their local village bands.

This year’s edition features 33 selected musicians from 14 wind music associations across the border triangle (Italy, Switzerland, Austria), including 12 musicians from the Vinschgau valley — members of the bands from Mals, St. Valentin, Burgeis, Matsch, Prad, Glurns, Tarsch, and Latsch.

Under the expert direction of conductor Johann Finatzer, the results of this project will be presented in concert, featuring a varied and challenging selection of brass band music.

Afterwards, drinks and a traditional Bavarian white sausage breakfast will be served.
