Discovering the food forest.

What is an edible forest? It’s a multifunctional crop of trees, plants, medicinal and healing herbs, berries and other forest fruits. Our Food Forest, created in 2001, is based on a production system that permanently captures CO2 and increases Alpine biodiversity, improving soil fertility at the same time. The woods are near the Campolongo Pass and Helga, the guide, will accompany you along the trails to discover wild herbs, berries and more of nature’s bounty, together with their properties and uses in the kitchen.
