FIL Alpine Luge World Cup on Natural Track
From February 19 to 21, 2026, the picturesque Jaufental Valley will become a hotspot for international luge sport. The world’s best male and female lugers will compete in the FIL World Cup in Natural Track Luge, battling for medals and valuable World Cup points.
This three-day sporting event promises pure excitement:

February 21 – The Main Competition Day

For those who can't attend in person, there's good news: The races will be broadcast via live stream, allowing viewers around the world to follow this major sporting event from the comfort of their homes.

How to get there:
Coming from Sterzing, follow the signs for Jaufental. Turn left in Gasteig. After approx. 6 minutes you will reach the signposted parking spaces. You will then reach the toboggan run in just a few minutes on foot. Alternatively, a shuttle will take you to the race site.
Alternatively:
Take the 314 bus from Sterzing to the last stop "Mittertal". Walk for approx. 500m in the direction of Obertal to the signposted parking spaces, from where a shuttle will take you to the race site.
