When poverty, need and cold are at their greatest, it is time for signs and wonders. Many fairy tales tell of this.
Hedwig Rost presents a handful of wintry tales that all point the way to happiness. The stars fall from the sky, there is a little golden key in the snow, and there is a place in Grandfather's glove for everyone seeking protection from the cold.
There is also a very special Christmas story that brings us nothing less than the turning point of time.
The narrator's voice and acting, paper figures, transparent pictures and a magical lantern take us back to a time when wishing still helped.
