CleanUp Days 2024: active environmental protection
The concept of Südtirol CleanUP Days is very simple: whether you are on your own or in small independently formed groups, anyone can set out and collect waste along a route. The route and date are decided on their own, and then uploaded to the CleanUP Map (an interactive map) indicating the kilometers, number of participants, and team name. This makes it easy to see which areas have already been covered.
A free CleanUP kit, consisting of a garbage bag and a sturdy stainless steel clamp, is provided for waste collection. In addition to the distribution spots, the interactive map (www.patron-nature.org/suedtirol) also shows where to dispose of the collected waste. Participation in CleanUP Days is free and open to all.
In the Gitschberg Jochtal holiday area, distribution and waste disposal spots are located at the following parking lots:
> Zumis parking lot (Rodenecker-Lüsner Alp)
> Dun village parking lot (Pfunders Valley)
> Altafossa parking lot (Meransen)
> Parking lot Fane Alm (Vals)
