Bread Baking at Tholer Hof, Aschbach
South Tyrolean culture is defined by decades of preserved culinary artistry. Elisabeth & Ernst from Tholerhof invite you to look behind the scenes and share their favorite recipe for the traditional South Tyrolean Paarlbrot. Together, you will prepare a rye dough in the preheated room, shape the loaves, and then bake them in the stone oven following tradition. You'll learn interesting facts about the cultivation and harvest of rye, which forms the basis for the traditional Paarlbrot. Finally, each participant will receive a Paarl recipe and some loaves to take home.
