Autumn pleasures: Bread baking course
This event is offered only in German and Italian.
At the Oberprantacher bakery in Seis am Schlern, you can bake traditional South Tyrolean types of bread together with baker Klaus. You will learn how Schüttelbrot got its name and how to “pluck” Vinschgerlen. The baker will show and explain the differences between various types of grain and can tell you a great deal about bread baking. At the end, you can take home your self-made Schüttelbrot and a hand-plucked pair of Vinschger bread rolls (Vinschger Paarl).
