An exhibition by Santiago Torresagasti

Curated by Nicolò Faccenda

"Il vento e la notte", the second exhibition of the 2026 exhibition season on the biennial theme "body, identity, culture", presents the work of artist and filmmaker Santiago Torresagasti.

Through video works, graphic translations of frames, and installation reconfigurations, Torresagasti proposes a research distinguished by a refined interplay between conceptual attitude, autobiographical content, and poetic allusiveness. Divided into two sections, "Wind" and "Night", the exhibition reflects on the concepts of space and time, absence and presence, fullness and emptiness, language and perception. The "Wind" section focuses on the theme of "presence" and brings together video works that explore and redefine the concepts of time and space, perception, and linguistic decoding. The "Night" section is conceptually and procedurally anchored in the graphic translation of the basic unit of cinematic language: the film frame. "Night" initiates a reflection on the concept of "absence", beginning with the reworking of visual materials depicting missing persons, "vermisst" or "desaparecidas".

The exhibition will remain open until Saturday, April 11, from Tuesday to Saturday between 4:00 PM and 7:00 PM. On Fridays and Saturdays, it will also be open in the mornings from 10:00 AM to 12:00 PM.

Free admission.
