The
football oratorio records in recitative, arias and choirs, including
Verdi's triumphal march from Aida, in two halves the rise of a boy from
the kick-off kick to the decisive goal in the World Cup final after.
These include childhood memories, battle songs, player and coach quotes
such as the famous monologue by Giovanni Trapattoni ("I've done it"),
whistle fugues and poetry words.
