The noble distillery in the heart of Merano
Directly next to the Prince's Castle, opposite the new City.Vinothek in the center of Merano, is a unicum: Merano's only and oldest distillery where grappa has been distilled and "aqua vitae" of the highest quality has been produced according to the best South Tyrolean craft tradition for more than 150 years. Merano's famous and excellent grappa finds its origin here. The distillery was renovated and modernized in 2017. The distillates - such as Treber, Traminer Aromatico, Chardonnay, Moscato Giallo and Pinot Noir - are noble and harmonious in taste, with the fragrance and intensity of local grape varieties from Merano and its surroundings. A pure pleasure for connoisseurs and lovers that lends the magic of uniqueness to special moments.
