In 2017 the CD of Chopin's Études, recorded by Zlata Chochievas was a sensational success and was accepted in the Top 10 Chopin recordings. In his article for Gramophone, music critic Jeremy Nicholas complimented “one of the most inspired, masterfully performed and sonically sublime recordings” he could remember. The Russian-born pianist will perform on Feb. 11 at the Vinzentinum hall in Brixen performing Robert Schumann's Symphonic Etudes, works by Frédéric Chopin, Sergei Rachmaninov and the scherzo from Mendelssohn's “A Midsummer Night's Dream” in a reworking by Rachmaninov.
