Wild Water

Brixen is located in a valley basin, where mountain ranges rise up on the sides of the town. These mountains are not only beautiful places for excursions, but also the source of one of the most precious commodities: water. Lonely mountain lakes, powerful streams and quiet rivers - impressive water places are waiting to be explored. Our greatest fortune is the excellent drinking water that springs from the mountains and flows through our taps. Join us on this hike and experience water in its many forms. We walk along the city river and hike towards mount Plose. We discover the wild Trametschbach river and refresh ourselves in a Kneipp facility in the middle of the forest. Ture to the motto "0 km", we get to know the source of drinking water and taste delicious products from the Schnagererhof farm’s own cultivation. The organic farm works in harmony with nature and offers a magnificent view of Brixen. We continue our tour, fill up our water bottles at a drinking water fountain in the village and hike on to a small church on a hill before heading back to Brixen.
