We follow the gently ascending Dürer path, past small farms and vineyards to the roman bridge, which spans a deep gorge. After about 1½ hours’ walk and a climb of 350 metres, we reach the hilltop at Buchholz|Pochi di Salorno, where we pass through mixed woodland, vineyards and orchards to reach the Sculpture Trail. A garden where the artist Sieglinde Tatz Borgogno exhibits her bronze sculptures. We head downhill along a forest track through a cool deciduous woodland to the hut Baita Garba, where we are served Tyrolean and Trentino specialities. After resting beneath the shady tree canopy, we are picked up again by our hiking bus.
