Rittersteig (the knights' path) Naturns|Naturno

We set off at 9 am on the hiking bus from Steinegg|Collepietra to Plaus in the lower Vinschgau Valley, where we’ll enjoy the stunning views of the Vinschgau Valley as we follow the undulating Sonnenberger panoramic trail past farms, orchards and vineyards. We cross the village of Naturns|Naturno and head towards the Jesus Contemplation Trail, the Rittersteig, along a beautiful forest path through orchards back to Plaus. There, we will stop for lunch at around 2 pm at the pizzeria Alpenblick and then take the hiking bus back to Steinegg|Collepietra.



Walking time 3 1/2 hours – Ascent 228 m – Descent 228 m – Route length 11 km



Important information:

-A certain level of basic fitness and sure-footedness are required

-Registration: Required by Tuesday, 4.00 pm at the latest, by telephone on +39 0471 619560 or by email at info@sternendorf.it.

-Meeting point: various bus stops along the route

-Participation is FREE for guests staying at our member establishments in the Eggental valley and for local residents of the Eggental valley with a Locals Card

Otherwise, adults pay €10 and juniors (aged 6 to 13) €5



Guided walks will be cancelled in the event of bad weather. The programme is also subject to change at short notice.
