Wednesday: guided hike in the Pfunderer valley to Gampiel Alm

We drive into the idyllic Pfunderer Valley with its lush green alpine meadows. We park our car near the Hintereggerhof. From here we walk along the forest path in the direction of the Gampiel Alm. The view over the idyllic village of Pfunders/Fundres is already impressive at the starting point. And what else is striking: on the meadows here there is still a great variety of species with a colorful palette of meadow flowers. The hike to the alp can also be shortened on trail no. 30 through the forest, we choose the more leisurely variant via the well-maintained forest path, which initially winds somewhat steeper, uphill. The view of the mountains of Pfunders/Fundres with Seefeldspitze and Gitschberg on one side and the Eidechsspitze on the other side is impressive. Above the tree boundry is our destination, the Gampiel Alm at 2.045m above sea level.
