Hana ist eine junge Albanerin, die der vorzeitlichen
aber immer noch existenten Tradition der „burrnesha“ folgend
jeglicher Sexualität abschwört und offiziell die Rolle als Mann
annimmt. Als „Mark“ innerlich zerrissen zur in Italien lebenden
Schwester Lila (Flonja Kodheli) zieht, wird der Rollenzwang
wieder brüchig.

Hana è una giovane donna albanese che, seguendo
l'antica ma ancora esistente tradizione della “burrnesha”,
rinuncia a ogni sessualità e assume ufficialmente il ruolo
di uomo diventando Mark. Quando Mark si trasferisce
dalla sorella Lila, che vive in Italia, le pressioni di ruolo
si allentano e qualcosa inizia a cambiare.

Hana is a young Albanian woman who, following
the ancient but still existing tradition of the "burrnesha",
renounces all sexuality and officially assumes the role of a man.
When "Mark" moves in with her sister Lila (Flonja Kodheli),
who lives in Italy, the role pressure becomes fragile again.
