Unika - Exhibition

Since 1994 Unika has been a platform for sculpture, painting and photography by local and regional artists. Every year Unika artists present themselves and their works at various events, fairs and exhibitions. Highlights include the Unika art fair and the bienniale Idea Unika - Art in the centre. The exquisite Unika art fair can proudly look back on 28 successful years. During this time, more than one hundred artists have presented their works to a critical and art-interested audience. The anniversary edition 2019 was able to present internationally renowned names from the art world, including Aron Demetz, Peter Demetz, Bruno Walpoth, Gregor Prugger, Wilhelm Senoner, ... On four exhibition days, from August 31th to the 3rd of September, the 28 UNIKA artists, including 17 sculptors, 8 painters, 1 photographer and 2 woodturners, show over 200 master pieces at the Tennis Center in Ortisei/Roncadizza. The UNIKA group always tries to be open to new things. Again and again young artists find a chance to present themselves within the UNIKA framework. The first female member is the young Martina Peintner, who joined UNIKA in 2020. The vernissage will take place the 30th of August 2023 at 5.30 pm and Unika's long night the first of September from 8.00 pm.
