The 49th edition of the Tour of the Alps will take place from April 20 to 24, covering five stages from Innsbruck, the capital of North Tyrol, through Trento to Bolzano in South Tyrol. The five stages will cover no less than 760 kilometers and 14,620 meters of elevation gain.

On April 21, 2026, a stage of the Tour of the Alps will run from Telfs in North Tyrol to the Martelltal Valley in South Tyrol. The stage race is one of the most important cycling races in the Alpine region and attracts top international teams as well as some of the world’s best climbers to the starting line every year.

The Martelltal Valley in Vinschgau Valley is a particular highlight. The route ends with a demanding climb up to Martell, which pushes the riders to their limits once again and often leads to thrilling finishes. For spectators, the race is a special experience: they can see the pros up close while enjoying the impressive mountain scenery.
