Theatre performance in Barbian: “Olls ban Teifl”
Farmer August is constantly dissatisfied and keeps grumbling that “olls ban Teifl” — that everything is going to the devil. But when, by chance, a pretty woman comes to his farm, his dark mood suddenly changes. Now August has grown attached to his farm and no longer wants to hand it over. As his son Jakob is about to get married, it is Burgu, the maid — who may seem simple-minded but has a clever idea — who sets everything on the right track. And in the end, it turns out it’s not “olls ban Teifl” after all.
