Theater: Artaban - il quarto Re
Few people know that there are theories suggesting that there were four Wise Men. The fourth Wise Man was known as Artaban, came from Persia and set off on his journey following Gaspar, Melchior and Balthazar after seeing the comet.
The best-known story about the fourth Wise Man is that of Henry Van Dyke, an American writer, poet and teacher. According to his version, the Wise Man brought Jesus gifts of precious stones (a sapphire, a ruby and a pearl), but arrived late at the place where he was born, 33 years later, on the days of his death and resurrection.
The story teaches us not to give up despite difficulties, just like Artaban, who continued to search for Jesus for 33 years and finally managed to reach him at the most important moment of his life.
