The Word Was God

On Sunday, June 14, 2026, at 5:00 PM, the atmospheric setting of Bolzano Cathedral will host a choral event of profound spiritual and artistic significance. The renowned Landesjugendchor Südtirol (Youth Choir of South Tyrol), under the direction of conductor Johann van der Sandt, will perform the concert entitled "The Word Was God – Voices between spirituality, freedom, and hope". The program will offer a musical journey through contemporary choral music, featuring works by esteemed modern composers such as S. Dobrogosz, K. A. Arnesen, R. Powell, R. Esmail, and J. Runestad.
