The sung mass
Eighth autumn appointment with the "Messa Cantata" at the Church of St. Dominic in Piazza Domenicani in Bolzano.
Next Sunday, 19 November 2023, animating the liturgy of the 10.30 a.m. Mass will be the Santa Maria Maddalena Chorale of Vadena, conducted by Maestro Enrico Balatti.
The St. Mary Magdalene Chorale was founded in 1994 with the aim of animating the Italian-language Holy Masses in the small parish of Vadena. Initially the repertoire was mainly sacred music; over the years it has been enriched with pieces ranging from popular and ethnic music to gospel songs and spirituals. In addition to liturgically animating the Holy Masses on the main festivities, it enthusiastically participates in other non-religious events also outside the province.
It currently consists of around twenty elements, divided into four registers, conducted by Maestro Matteo Enrico Balatti.
