The sense of beauty - Film screening (in italian only)

The screening of the film "The Sense of Beauty," written and directed by Valerio Jalongo, will be in Italian and will begin at 9 p.m. The screening will take place in the SMACH Val dl'Ert in San Martino in Badia, in front of the opera "Ciasa" (opera number 12 on the map). The trail is marked and easily accessible. The place can be reached with a 30 minutes walk from the free parking in front of the Museum Ladin Ciastel de Tor or in 10 minutes by parking at the entrance of Val dl'Ert along the Mirì road (limited parking).

Description of the screening

Four years after the sensational discovery of the 'Higgs Boson', CERN is on the eve of an exceptional new experiment. The experiment is both a journey into the farthest time and the smallest space we can imagine. Thus, the infinitely small and the vastness of the universe open the doors to an invisible territory, where scientists are guided by something they have in common with artists. Between scientists who have lost the image of Nature, and artists who have lost the traditional idea of beauty, through machines that resemble works of art and artistic installations that resemble experiments, a portrait emerges of scientific and artistic activities as investigation, as imagination, as a genuine exercise in freedom and in beauty.
