The long-awaited first encyclical of Pope Leo XIV has finally been published. It deals with the significance of AI: What opportunities does it offer? What dangers does it entail?

But it is not enough to ask whether it will be used as a tool for good or for evil; one must also ask how it is designed and what image of human beings and society is embedded in the data and models that guide it, the Pope says.

Discussing this topic are:

Prof. em. Hans Drumbl, Bozen, linguist

PD Dr.in Katharina Crepaz, Eurac Research

Prof. Martin M. Lintner, moral theologian

Moderation: Benedetta Michelini, Cusanus Academy
