The first signs of spring on the alpine pastures of Gsiesertal Valley
When the snow melts in Gsiesertal Valley and the first flowers emerge from the ground, the valley transforms into an idyllic spring landscape. The hike starts at the Rotmoos car park in St. Magdalena and leads through the Weissbachtal to the Joasahütte hut. Along the way, signs of spring and a wonderful panoramic view of the Pragser Dolomites accompany the journey. The descent leads to the huts Pidig, from where the Squirrel Trail returns to the starting point. Backpacking provisions or refreshments available in a mountain hut.
