For the past ten years, Toblach has been bringing
music to art as part of the South Tyrolean Festival and enchanted this
oasis of silence in the summer months with a cloud of sound and an
artistic experience that attracts the public from far away. Here Mahler
composed his last works in this uniquely idyllic mountain world, where
he found the necessary calm and inspiration to pour the depth of his
feelings and hunches into notes. This year, this will be Julia
Bornefeld, who was born with a special affinity to music. She will set
out in Dobbiaco on the search for Mahler's traces and its significance
for our time. One can be curious about the results in Art and Music.
