The Bridal Race

Step by step for children with heart disease and the reuse of wedding dresses: on Saturday, 7 October 2023, with a meeting point at 10 a.m., Bolzano's Walther Square will be transformed into a running route for married couples, who will have fun, supporting the association Cuore di bimbo with their membership fee and - if they wish - donating their wedding dresses to Kleopatra, a second-hand shop in Bolzano. There, the wedding dresses can then be purchased for a donation. The proceeds from these donations will also be donated to Cuore di bimbo. In the 500-metre race the married couples will have to overcome various obstacles and the time of the slowest one(s) will be recorded. The registration fee is 20 euro per person. Participants will be rewarded with interesting local products and will then take part in the party at the end of the event. Participants in the wedding run can win fantastic prizes provided by the Bolzano shopkeepers. The website www.bzheartbeat.it lists all shops with promotions and discounts participating in Bolzano's 'wedding fever'. The city's traders want to focus on South Tyrol as a destination for weddings. BZ Heartbeat is an association of Bolzano merchants and restaurants that wants to counteract online retail and make shopping an experience for all senses. The wedding run on 7 October is one of them.
