Tereza Hossa is a cabaret artist, veterinarian, and born bon vivant. She was born in 1995 in Australia and grew up in Tyrol. Since 2013, she has lived and worked in Vienna.

Her stage career began in 2014 as a slam poet. Today, she feels completely at home on renowned cabaret stages. As a podcaster, she co-hosts the science-and-fun podcast “Axolotl & Co” with her brother and celebrates Thursdays with fellow author Katharina Reckers in the podcast “Duschbier.”

Through her work both behind and in front of the camera on the Caroline Kebekus Show, she has gained recognition on German television and online. Hossa also writes for publications such as Die Tagespresse, Der Standard, and for artists like Caroline Kebekus and Till Reiners.

As a trained veterinarian, she addresses not only the slaughter of animals but also the “slaughter” of patriarchy in her artistic work. Whether through dark satire or casual exploration of her own feelings, Tereza Hossa is unpredictable. From the cowshed to German television and back to the small-animal practice, she has experienced a lot — and wants to share it. “Tagada” is a coming-of-age program that follows the journey of a young woman who never rests while trying to stay cool.
