The ascent from the Hirzel path to the Vajolon Pass (2,560 m) is steep but relatively short. A short iron ladder helps us to overcome a rock. But then the feeling of standing on the summit of the Vajolon (2,646 m) is uplifting! Descent to the Roda di Vaèl hut and down to the Karerpass | Passo Costalunga. From the Karerpass | Passo Costalunga, the public bus takes us back to Welschnofen | Nova Levante to the starting point.
