Summer Classics: Classic concert with "Brass ensemble Philomousia" in the Culture House in Seis am Schlern.
The brass ensemble Philomousia was founded in 2005 and has since performed regularly in a variety of formations, from a trio to an extended brass ensemble. The dilettantes (in the literal sense) are particularly keen to cultivate and disseminate classical harmony music. The repertoire ranges from original pre-classical works to typical arrangements of important operas and symphonies from the end of the 18th century to the beginning of the 20th century for this instrumentation.
Othmar Trenner was the ensemble's musical director for ten years, and Manfred Egger has been in charge since 2023.
