Life in the year 2040: children are perfected before conception to be hyper-intelligent and immune to disease.

Life in the year 2040: babies are perfected even before artificial conception to be immune to diseases, armed against environmental disasters and hyperintelligent - all just a question of money. Electrical appliances order their own repair service, the refrigerator warns against unhealthy eating. The Netherlands has fallen victim to rising sea levels and the new "terrorism" to be fought is called climate and environmental protection. In the house, Alecto, once the Greek goddess of vengeance, now the artificial intelligence that no one can live without. She tells us how we feel, what we want and whether our relationship is still good enough. Alecto knows everything about us, and sooner than we do. She is closer to us than anyone, is family, therapist, manager and confidante. Of course, she is also a spy for the state, which we would know if we had read the terms of use. With a large portion of black humour, Ronen and Schaad create a picture of a near future determined by algorithms in twelve scenes. And clearly, in this case, the theatre is also algorithmically optimised. Be curious! "Rarely have dystopias been so much fun!" (Abendzeitung).
