In Bastian Kraft's adaptation of the novel, the three actors Pascal Fligg, Nicola Fritzen and Justin Mühlenhardt take turns playing the acting and thinking Felix and also slip into the other roles in the book. In 2012, the production of the Munich Volkstheater was performed in Silandro, Merano and Bressanone and received the Audience Award of the South Tyrolean Cultural Institute. Now the production, which is still running successfully in Munich, can be seen in Bolzano.
