Südtiroler Kulturinstitut: Die Singphoniker

In the 40 years of their existence, the Singphoniker - in their current line-up - have not grown a day older. Far more than 1300 concerts in 29 countries have at most matured the singers and their pianist. Since 1982, the probably most renowned German vocal ensemble has been setting standards and starts its anniversary season 2022/23 with fresh energy, full of zest for action and many new projects. The anniversary programme, which can be heard on New Year's Eve in the Waltherhaus in Bolzano, presents the highlights of the vocal repertoire: from Orlando di Lasso to Franz Schubert and the Romantic period to Carl Orff, but also jazz and pop can be heard - and of course the music of the Comedian Harmonists, with whom it all began.
