Can a drummer be an entire band? With his project VAAGUE, Antoine Pierre pushes the drum kit far beyond its traditional role. Without loops or playback, he samples his own instrument into a live sequencer and builds entire sonic worlds in real time. The result is a physical and overwhelming performance suspended between UK garage, drum & bass and post-dubstep – a high-intensity live act where jazz instinct meets club energy.
