STAINS: Drawing Session

As part of the Pride Vibes programme, Museion hosts STAINS: Drawing Session, a participatory drawing session devoted to exploring identity as a constantly shifting territory. It starts from a question: how much of what we call "us" arises from within, and how much takes shape through encounters, relationships and the gaze of others?

Through individual and collective creative practices, drawing becomes a tool for inquiry and storytelling: a mark left on the page, a line that interweaves with other lines, a story that blends with other stories. Body, name and gender are the starting points of a journey through the construction of the self, bringing to light the mechanisms, influences and transformations that accompany us over time. In a space open to listening and sharing, identities can blend, overlap and enter into dialogue, revealing their fluid and changeable nature.

The experience is led by Alice Berti (Alis Dot), a visual artist and illustrator born in Bressanone (Brixen). Her work focuses on themes of intimacy, belonging and identity formation, developed through languages ranging from writing to graphic gesture and performance. For years she has run creative workshops and art-education projects and is responsible for the Drawing Nights Bz initiative.

The event is an opportunity to draw, to meet others and to let new possibilities of storytelling emerge, both individual and collective.
