Spring concert of the Milland band
The Milland band cordially invites you to its annual spring concert entitled “Let's Dance”! On Saturday, April 26, 2025, let yourself be inspired by rousing sounds and a varied program. The concert will take place in the Milland youth center. Admission is at 19:30 and the musical evening begins at 20:00.
The band will take you on an exciting journey through various musical styles - from traditional dances to modern rhythms. The program includes the lively polka “Unseren Mädchen” by Bedřich Smetana, the famous “Waltz No. 2” by Dimitri Shostakovich and the rousing ragtime “Honky Tonk Ragtime” by Willy Faust. The youth band also contributed to an unforgettable evening with special pieces such as “Klezmoresque” and “Forever ABBA Gold”.
Guests who particularly enjoy dancing will be delighted by classics such as “In the Mood” by Glenn Miller or the lively “Dirty Dancing” by Bill Medley. The crowning finale is the impressive work “Coldplay in Symphony” by Bert Appermont, which presents the modern sounds of pop music in a symphonic setting.
The musical direction is in the proven hands of Christian Pfattner, who conducts the Milland band, while the youth band is led by Alexandra Pflanzer. The evening will be hosted by Gabriele Morandell and Lukas Schatzer, who will introduce the individual program items with humorous and informative presentations.
Admission is free, but it is not possible to reserve a seat.
We look forward to welcoming numerous guests and a wonderful concert evening full of music, dancing and good humor!
