Special exhibition in the convents museum in Müstair Maximilian in Müstair Hunting & Politics Opening day Friday, 10.05.2019 Guided tours from 4 July to 10 October 2019 every Thursday at 3:30 pm On the occasion of the 500th anniversary of the death of Maximilian I, the Monastery Museum of Müstair dedicates a special exhibition to the emperor's visit to the region in 1496 and the hunting he loved. It also highlights the monastic life of the time under the abbess Angelina Planta, as well as the importance of the Umbrailpass as a strategic link between the Habsburg Empire and Italy.
