South Tyrol Jazz Festival: Matinèe
Concert with Ronny Graupe's Szelest at the Parkhotel Holzner, Oberbozen at 11 a.m.
The Polish word “Szelest” means “rustle.” Just like the rustling of the sea or trees in the wind, it is marked by unpredictable and unexpected disturbances – much like the chamber jazz of this ensemble. In addition to radically reinterpreting jazz standards, this Berlin-based trio performs Ronny Graupe’s compositions, with lyrics by vocalist Lucia Cadotsch, which during this concert are interpreted by Damaris Brendle
Artists
Ronny Graupe (DE) - guit
Damaris Brendle (CH) - voc
Kit Downes (UK) - p
A fascinating jazz-liaison at the Parkhotel Holzner's garden, from whose Art Nouveau architecture you can admire the Sciliar and the Rosengarten mountains
