Snowshoe hike Wildbad/Bagni di San Candido - Rif. Gigante Baranci

Walk through San Candido to the starting point of the snowshoe hike (Parkhotel Sole Paradiso). First through the (hopefully) snowy spruce forest to Bagni di San Candido. Then a comfortable one and a half to two hour walk to the Rifugio Gigante Baranci (refreshment stop approx. 1 hour). Descent of your choice. You can opt to take the cable car. Otherwise, the walk back to San Candido via a different route takes one hour. Option to extend the hike to the pasture Maierkaser, which raises the elevation gain to 500 metres. Cost of descent via chair lift: 14.50 Euro per person
