Snow and Wine

The Snow & Wine gourmet program will be held on Mount Plose, above the town of Bressanone/Brixen between 23th and 29th March. Gourmet specialities paired with local wines will be served at various mountain huts including Rossalm, La Finestra, Trametschhütte and Plosestodl. Moving between the refuges on sleds, guests will have the opportunity of trying different local platters paired with selected local wines from the Valle Isarco/Eisacktal Valley. Starting at La Finestra, the gourmet excursion is fixed for Saturday 23rd March and again on Wednesday 27th March, at 9.30 a.m. The first stop is at the Rossalm refuge for a Standing Culinaria starter, with a local winemaker presenting local vintages. This is followed by the main course back at La Finestra with suitably paired wines. From there, there’s a 9 km-long sled ride (known as the Rudi Run) to the Trametschhütte, for desserts. Price is inclusive of the organized tour with guide and the food and wine pairing at the various huts.
