Slow Food Travel - Spring festival

On 7th June 2026, starting at 11 am, the Slow Food Travel association invites you to a charming spring festival on the church square in St. Peter in Villnöss valley. Look forward to a lovingly curated farmers’ market featuring high-quality regional products in the spirit of Slow Food Travel. Culinary highlights include specialties from the "Villnösser Brillenschaf" sheep and the grey cattle breed "Graues Geisler Rind", offering an authentic taste of the region. A lively musical atmosphere will set the tone, while passionate card players can gather in the parish hall for a friendly South Tyrolean card game of “Watten” – perfect for enjoying time together in a relaxed setting.

There’s plenty for curious visitors of all ages: get creative while carving traditional whistles of tree bark (Maienpfeifen) and discover a whole new perspective of St. Peter with guided church tower tours.
